Why are we starting AIMERS?

We are parents of two elementary and middle school going kids. We have been monitoring
and documenting their progress and struggle whether it is academically, socially or in their
confidence level.
Along the way, we also documented and discovered some of the problems we see in
private learning centers and schools.

We are starting AIMERS to tackle and solve these problems, which we think could be affecting other kids as well.

Here are some of the issues we think exist today

Learning Centers

  • No focus on overall growth of kids. They are just interested in teaching particular subject.
  • Repetitive Pattern – This made our kids loose interest in math and started hating the
    subject.
  • No focus on clearing the doubt – Most of the time they don’t explain why a particular
    question is wrong. They just tell you the answer which written in their answer book.
  • Less focus on word problem, which we think very critical in logical thinking
  • No attention to kids mental health. All the existing learning centers are outdated and they
    do not revise their curriculum or way of teaching to meet the need for new gen kids.

Schools

  • These days schools are relying on third party apps to teach kids.
  • These apps are not very detailed and intuitive in teaching the concepts.
  • Less focus on revision
    No or very less second chance to clear the doubt with teacher.
  • As kids move the grade subjects becomes tougher and the above problem keeps
    amplifying.
